We made it to viability!!!!

Friends and Family,

Please join us in praising God today for allowing Jen and the babies to hit this huge milestone in the pregnancy, 24 weeks! We are so excited that we have now entered this new phase in the pregnancy. If the boys were born today, they would stand a chance of healthy survival. From everything they can see, our ultrasound this morning showed four very healthy little babies growing inside of mom, praise God!

Now, we shift our focus to 28 weeks. Our doctor tells us that when we hit 28 weeks, our boys will have a 90%+ chance of healthy survival. So, between now and then, statistically, the numbers go from 40% to over 90%. That means that everyday between now and 28 weeks is a big step toward bringing home healthy babies. But, we also know that we do not trust only in numbers and statistics. Our God is capable of anything, so please pray that He would be willing to give us four more weeks.

Please pray:

- That Jen could continue to stay at home on bedrest with less than 4 contractions an hour. (she is averaging 1-2 right now)

- That our boys would continue to grow and stay healthy

- That God would give Jen and I peace and patience as we await the big day.

- That God would allow us to give Him all the glory with our lives and that we can share the good news of Jesus Christ during this Christmas season with others.

Congratulations on 4 healthy baby boys reaching viability! Jen, I'm praying for you physically and mentally! I'm glad to read your contractions are few and far between. I remember from Sandy's pregnancy, how important it is each day, for your babies to stay inside. We'll continue to pray for 30+ weeks!

Jen
As hard as bedrest can get sometimes (Isaiah showed me that) if you can try and catch up on books, movies, and devotionals...God is so good - time can go faster than you think. I know you are on bed rest longer than me (I was on for 5 weeks) but I know God will be faithful to you. I'm sure everyone is telling you - get your rest now - those boys will keep you hoppin! Mine sure do! :)

Hey, Jen, I saw your big brother last night. He and Sally came over with the boys for the Gainmore class party. Their boys are so cute! Oh my word, you guys are going to have LOTS of boy cousins!!

Jen, I am posting for you, since I am just now reading what you wrote a few days back. I totally understand about trying to figure out what contractions feel like. I often didn't feel them, or I thought they were just baby movement. I know that trying to distinguish the difference is very nerve wracking. I am glad for the contraction monitor for you. I was also wondering what med they have you on. I am amazed at what God is doing through you. I really appreciate how you are both willing to share, and to also give glory to God. Still praying, Sandy

Hi Brad and Jen,

This is Jennifer2 from the Momo board, I just saw a post from Brad that you were at 25 weeks, that is so awesome!! It gave me chills to come here and read how God is taking of all 6 of you!! Jen you are doing a great job, these boys are so lucky to have you as their mother. I am praying that you will keep them cooking a few more weeks. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Congratulations! That is a great milestone to reach :) I hope and pray that those little ones stay in as long as possible. Interesting that you are from Indiana, I am originally from there as well. Mishawaka/South Bend area.

Good luck with those babies!
