They are here!

Hello everyone,

Our boys are here and doing really well. The birth went very well and Jen is recovering in our room again now. They all came out crying and breathing room air on their own.

One of the boys is now on ventilation as he was not able to continue to breath without assistance. The other three have continued to breath without a vent, but they all have a long way to go before we can breath a sigh of releif. But, God has given us five hours of life with our little boys already, and we are thankful to finally get to meet them.

Ok, here are the names and weights that you all have been waiting for in the order in which they entered the world:

Henry Samuel Murray
Born at 12:33pm
2lbs. 12oz.

Brooks Layton Murray
Born at 12:34pm
3lbs. 0oz.

Clark Thomas Murray
Born at 12:34pm
3lbs. 7oz.

Isaac Edward Murray
Born at 12:35pm
4lbs. 0oz.

Here is a picture of the boys just minutes after they were born, right before being hurried off to the NICU.

Left to right: Henry, Brooks, Clark, Isaac

Congratulations on the birth of your sons! Those are such great weights for 32 weekers and quads! Jen did such a great job growing them and getting them here safe. I went to the monoamnionic site then here because I just couldn't wait! I am so happy for you and your family. What a wonderful gift God has given you. They are beautiful.

Congrats times four! It's very normal for babies to get tired and need breathing assistance at first so try not to get too stressed. Congrats again, I am so thrilled beyond words to see that picture of four wonderful babies! WOW!

Congrats, congrats, congrats, congrats! I got a little teary looking at all those beautiful boys. You're in for the adventure of your life - and nothing is as rewarding. Jen, I am not sure if you had to have the mag or not - but I've been thinking about you concerning that one throughout the day...if you did need it - I hope it didn't last long and that your side effects were few.

The Guinn Triplets say Congrats!! You guys were bigger than we were. Good Luck in the NICU! Ask for a lemon swab as soon as possible. We highly recommend sucking on them. They taste great! Plus mom and dad loved giving them to us as we got a chance to cuddle.

How wonderful! Momma, you have obviously done a wonderful job giving them a warm safe home for 32 weeks. Try to rest in between all of your trips down to see your sweet miracles and letting it all sink in. Good strong names & nice sized weights! Thanks, Daddy, for updating us. We have been (im)patiently checking your blog all day for this wonderful news! :) God is good! Yes, He is!

Jen & Brad - I've been thinking of you guys all day and checking every hour for your announcement. MANY CONGRATULATIONS and WELL DONE JEN!!! That picture just got me in the heart...how precious - your boys are beautiful and they look very healthy. You guys have come through SO MUCH and I'm so proud of your faith and strength. God is faithful when we put our trust in Him. I'm sure Jen is exhausted - please send an update on her when you can. It's easy to focus on the babies right now, but let's not take our eyes off mommy as she's going to need some TLC, too!!! :) Can't wait to see more pictures and meet the two of you in person. Congratulations again and thanks for taking the time to have your blog so we can all be a part of this experience and great day! Julie B.

Hi guys! I just had to write a quick note before I went to bed to tell you what a blessing today was! It was truly, truly amazing! WOW! Don't think I can find the words to express my thoughts. It seems like a dream. Guess one of the highlights of the day was hearing the lullaby play the first, second, third and then fourth time! Everyone of us cheered! And then Tom Gibson led us all in the Doxology and we praised God as a family! AMAZING!!!!!!! Dad made it through great...with flying colors even! Couple of teary calls and some funny moments, right Mike, if you're reading this? And Grandpa Tom paced quite a bit! But, God was truly with us, giving us peace and such calmness through the wait. Thanks to everyone out there reading this for all your kindness, love and esp. many prayers! It truly is nothing less than a miracle from God! Hope you're getting some much needed rest, Sis! I'm sure it feels quite strange without feeling those kicks and hiccups! I'll call you guys soon. Thanks so much for sharing your day and for being so brave and esp. for being so faithful to Him! The boys are absolutely beautiful. We have the enlarged picture on our computer screen here. I just keep looking at them! What beautiful boys, I hope I will be able to keep them straight! Love you guys so much! Hope everyone gets much deserved rest tonight and I will be anxious to hear good reports tomorrow.
Love, Sandy

BEAUTIFUL!! I'm so happy for you. Congratulations! We will continue to keep you and the babies in our prayers. Shawn said your Dad had tears of joy as he relayed the message to her of the boys arrival for her to send down the prayer chain. I love sending 'good news' down the chain. Everyone has been waiting to hear about their safe arrival. God is SOO GOOD! God bless you and your new 'family'!

Congrats on the arrival of your $ beautiful boys. What a great job your wife has done to carry them so far and you for supporting her so well. Your little one sounds like a big fighter but i know that myself about little ones Airlie has the biggest spirt of all and she was 1lb 14ozs. She has a little friend who has apart of a triplet prenancy and he was 780grams and he is just as fiesty.
I am sure the staff are taking good care of them NICU staff are super special people!! Give my best to your wife and i hope thats she recovers well. How is her health? I ask as i had PE and HELLPS and spent some time in IUC and on bp meds but now 1 year on I am fine not sure if there will be other babies though? But happy to have my miracle baby girl born at 27+5 1lb 14ozs and our Big full termer born weighing 6lb 5ozs.

the cuddles are the best make sure you have a kangaroo cuddle skin to skin is the best and very good for babes and for parents too.
